Do you enjoy your work?

“How do you know that the job that you have right now is indeed your passion?” one of my friend asked me this question earlier today.

“Imagine that you could meet your younger self, the one that still in elementary school.” I answered to her, “Imagine that your current self explain about your current job, what you do, and what you think about it. What you first think every morning after waking up and just before starting the day, before going to work.” I continued, “Will you be able to explain to her (or him) joyfully? will your younger self got interested in it? when you look into your own younger self’s eyes will you see excitement? If your younger self hear your story and start saying ‘i want to be like you’ then i think it’s safe to say that you are in a right track”.
